Digital video production company Smiths Digital Coupons has acquired a startup called Digital Dream Labs to build its own digital imaging and photography studio.
The company is based in New York City and will be based in Atlanta.
The acquisition was announced today by Smiths CEO and co-founder Chris Smith, who also is chairman of Digital Dream.
Smiths will focus on the design, engineering, and manufacturing of its products, which will include digital video production equipment, digital film processing, and digital photography software.
Digital Dream’s founder and CEO, Bobby Smith, says Smiths is going to use the company’s technology to produce the company products.
Smith’s company, which is now based in Texas, plans to launch its products and services in 2018, and will focus more on the hardware side of the business.
The $150 million deal is expected to close in the second half of the year.
Smith said in a statement that Digital Dream has already made major strides in the development of its technology, and that the team has been developing a “strong portfolio of IP assets.”
He added that the Smiths team is focused on building out a robust software and hardware ecosystem that will allow it to build “the most advanced digital cameras and digital cameras products ever.”
Digital Dream is currently in talks with film and television companies to produce digital photography products, but its product portfolio is focused more on video production, which Smiths believes will make it a more profitable option.
Smith added that he has been a part of digital video for 15 years and believes that digital cameras have been the primary way that filmmakers have made their films.
He added, “Digital is going through a renaissance right now.
People are getting into digital, and I think digital is going the way of the Dodo.”

(Smith’s Digital Co) Digital Dream, which was founded in 2013, offers digital photography equipment, film production, and editing software to filmmakers.
The Smiths digital camera is the company first product.
The studio is now in the process of developing and testing a range of products including digital video, digital motion graphics, and high-end digital imaging equipment.
Smith told The Next Week that the studio will launch its first products this year.
The new studio will be the culmination of Smiths 15-year vision.
“It’s a very exciting time for the digital video industry,” Smith said.
“I have been a long-time user of digital cameras, and it’s always been the way that I’ve been interested in digital photography.”
Digital Camera, Video, and Film Maker, the studio’s name, was created by Smith in 2013.
It focuses on producing film and video for film and TV production, with its first product coming in 2018.
“Digital Camera, video, and film maker is a product for film producers who are looking for a solution that’s affordable, versatile, easy to use, and easy to produce,” Smith wrote in a blog post about the new studio.
Smith is a veteran film producer who is best known for his work on the Emmy Award-winning television series, “The West Wing.”
Smith was also the co-director of “West Wing,” which ran from 2008-2014.
“The Smiths Family” is based on the book of the same name by Aaron Sorkin.
The series was created for HBO by Peter Gould and produced by David Mandelbaum, Michael Eisner, and Peter Chernin.
Smith and his wife, Mary, are also co-executive producers on the “West Wings” series, which aired from 2011-2015.
